On my first visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the trip was not merely an academic participation, but rather an unforgettable human, cultural, and spiritual experience. I came to present a paper at the “Knights of Peace” conference, entitled “Kuwait’s Humanitarian Role and Its Voluntary Work”, in which I shed light on Kuwait’s pioneering initiatives in relief and volunteer work, and its role in promoting a culture of giving both regionally and globally.

“But Jordan surprised me with much more than the conference halls. From the moment I arrived, I felt the warmth of hospitality, an innate generosity that is not taught but lived.” I wandered among Jordan’s enchanting landmarks: from Petra, which speaks the Nabataean civilization, to Wadi Rum, which takes you on a journey among stars and sand; from the healing salts of the Dead Sea to Jerash, the Roman city that tells the story of a thousand years.

My visit to the site of the Companions of the Cave in the village of Al-Rajib was a moment of deep reflection, where history meets faith, and the land beats with the stories of the young men who believed in their Lord, and He increased them in guidance.

Jordan is not just a country; it is a mosaic of beauty, spirit, and history. A land that combines hospitality with purpose, breathtaking nature with sacred sites, intellect with peace.

I left this journey carrying unforgettable memories and a profound impression of a nation that truly deserves to be visited and celebrated.

And as I return, I find myself grateful for this experience that brought together knowledge and humanity, Kuwait and Jordan, in an Arab scene worthy of pride.
